Webmaster
Jim Baillie
Development Officer - Annual Fund, Naropa University
jbaillie@naropa.edu
Jim recently joined the dark side of front line fundraising. But, deep down inside he’ll always be a researcher. It is in his blood. Literally. He inherited a love of books from his mother (a librarian); by completing his MSLIS at Syracuse University, he extended the family’s tradition of librarianship to three generations (his great-uncle was dean at a top tier library school). Specializing in science librarianship (animal ethology and astronomy are still favorite subjects), Jim eventually landed at the Boston Public Library and reveled in its world class collections. After a decade of working in libraries, Jim moved to Colorado in 2006. He took the opportunity to try something new and made the jump to prospect research at Naropa University.
